The Mural Gazer project will reach more people with more stories if it gets support and sponsorship from individuals and organizations in the community of Chemainus and beyond. - To date the Mural Gazer project has not received government or foundation funding or support, but I am hopeful an announcement is pending.
Opportunities for corporate, business and organizational sponsors and supporters
- Become a Major Sponsor – A major sponsor will receive full recognition on the back page of Mural Gazer publications. They will be prominently noted in advertising, mentioned at Mural Gazer public events, and featured on the Mural Gazer web site. Every opportunity will be taken to recognize their contribution, and ensure the community of Chemainus and visitors to Chemainus are aware of it.
- Sponsor an individual Mural Story – Stories associated with individual murals will have their own booklets. As a sponsor, your business will be prominently featured in the publication. You will also be listed as a sponsor on the Mural Gazer web site, and in associated literature.
- Sponsor a series of Mural Readings – A summer reading series is part of the Mural Gazer project. Readings specifically related to individual murals will be promoted and take place on-site. As a sponsor you will be thanked and your name will be displayed. You will also be listed as a sponsor on the Mural Gazer web site, and in associated literature.
- Become a vendor – Visitors to Chemainus will want to buy editions of the Mural Gazer story booklets or other products, and will appreciate your having copies for sale at your location. Proceeds from the sales will go toward the Mural Gazer project. Vendors will be listed in Mural Gazer publications and on the web site.
- Organize a reading – Get a group of 10 or more people together and author Craig Spence will come do a reading or presentation at a location of your choice (travel costs apply to areas outside the Cowichan Valley or Nanaimo). The reading fee is $150.
- Take advantage of Mural Gazer special offers – Support businesses that support the Mural Gazer project (and get great deals into the bargain).
